- Description
- The Swedish Red List is produced by the Swedish Species Information Centre at SLU. The evaluations were made in collaboration with more than 100 experts, subdivided into 14 committees treating different organism groups. The Swedish Red List 2020, published on April 22 2020, is the fifth Swedish Red List based on the international IUCN criteria. The end product is two-fold, the actual redlist with species assessments and an analysis report. They are available both in printed editions and digitally. Further reading, species-specific information and analysis of results are available at www.artdatabanken.se.

Publ.: von Schweinitz, L.D., 1822. Synopsis fungorum Carolinae superioris. Schriften der Naturforschenden Gesellschaft zu Leipzig 1: 2-131 (p. 58), not seen. Type from USA (North Carolina). Habitat: ad terram nudum, locis graminosis (= on bare soil, in grassy places). Zamora & al. (2015): "...considering that the name G. minimum has been largely applied to several species, that the protologue is not enough detailed to know which species was described by Schweinitz (1822), and that it is difficult to ascertain if the old specimen marked as ‘type’ in Kew is really a part of Schweinitz’s original material (Sunhede 1989), we prefer to avoid the use of that name, regarding it as nomen ambiguum and dubium until unambiguous original material of this taxon were found.".
