Description: The Swedish Red List is produced by the Swedish Species Information Centre at SLU. The evaluations were made in collaboration with more than 100 experts, subdivided into 14 committees treating different organism groups. The Swedish Red List 2020, published on April 22 2020, is the fifth Swedish Red List based on the international IUCN criteria. The end product is two-fold, the actual redlist with species assessments and an analysis report. They are available both in printed editions and digitally. The digitalised version constituting the basis of the reference is said to comprise Vol. I-II, and was printed in 1806. However, the original pagination has been kept, and this shows the book to be tripartite. Very probably the first part was originally issued in 1804, the second in 1805 and the third in 1806. "Cancer spinus" is described in the second part of the book, and hence the year 1805 is probably correct.
