Description
The Swedish Red List is produced by the Swedish Species Information Centre at SLU. The evaluations were made in collaboration with more than 100 experts, subdivided into 14 committees treating different organism groups. The Swedish Red List 2020, published on April 22 2020, is the fifth Swedish Red List based on the international IUCN criteria. The end product is two-fold, the actual redlist with species assessments and an analysis report. They are available both in printed editions and digitally. Further reading, species-specific information and analysis of results are available at www.artdatabanken.se.

Publ.: as 'P. wynnei', Berkeley and Broome, 1859: 358-359, seen. Described from UK (Wales, England). Matrix: running over twigs and grass etc.. Ryvarden (1976) not in acc. w rec.: Polyporus wynnei Berk. & Br.. This is a tricky one, nomenclaturally. The species is dedicated to somebody called Wynne. Apparently Berkeley dedicated many species to Mr. Wynne (acc. to Antonín & Nordeloos, 2010 (I have seen the relevant excerpt)). In that case "wynnei" is correct acc. to the Code. In this particular article Berkeley refers to Mrs. Wynne for most collection from Coed Coch in Wales, e.g. Marasmius wynneae (which he calls M. wynnei and which must be emended to M. wynneae). The problem with this species is that it is published as Polyporus wynnei with a reference to Coed Coch in Wales, but there is no mention of Mrs. Wynne, as there is for all other collections from Coed Coch in the article. It seems that most authors lately has assumed that it is dedicated to Mrs. Wynne, and emend the name to P. wynneae. We follow this.
