Description
The Swedish Red List is produced by the Swedish Species Information Centre at SLU. The evaluations were made in collaboration with more than 100 experts, subdivided into 14 committees treating different organism groups. The Swedish Red List 2020, published on April 22 2020, is the fifth Swedish Red List based on the international IUCN criteria. The end product is two-fold, the actual redlist with species assessments and an analysis report. They are available both in printed editions and digitally. Leach's work "Malacostraca Podophthalmata Britanniae" was issued between 1815 and 1820, and the digitalised omnibus volume gives no indication of where one of the component part ends and the next one begins. I therfore can't verify the exact year - only that it must be 1815-1820 (i.e. not 1814).

Whether or not the year 1817 is correct is hard to tell. The digitalised book is an omnibus volume spanning the entire series, issued between 1815 and 1820. The component parts were issued separately, but where one part ends and the next ones begins is no longer visible. Hence, it is impossible to see when an individual species was described.
